Terms of Use

1. What the service is

Lista lets you save places — restaurants, cafés, hotels, and things to do — add your own notes, share lists with people you choose, and turn saved places into a trip. Anyone can sign up for a free account directly in the app.

2. Accounts

• You need an account to use most of Lista. A free account can be created directly in the app, though usage limits may apply. Give us an email address that works, and keep your sign-in details to yourself.
• You are responsible for what happens under your account.
• You must be at least 13 to create an account.
• One person, one account. Do not share an account with someone else.

3. Your content stays yours

• The places you save, the notes you write, and the trips you plan belong to you. We don't claim ownership of them.
• To run the service, we need permission to store your content, back it up, and show it back to you — and, if you turn on a share link, to show it to whoever opens that link. That permission is limited to operating Lista and ends when you delete the content or your account.
• Sharing is off by default. When you share a list — with a specific person by email, phone, or username, or with anyone via a public link — the recipient can view it and choose to add individual places to their own account. They cannot pull in your whole list without your sharing it first. A public link opens in the device's browser and can be viewed without signing in — treat it as public.

4. Acceptable use

Do not use Lista to:

• post anything illegal, hateful, harassing, deceptive, or that infringes someone else's rights;
• impersonate another person, or claim a shared list as your own work;
• spam other users, or use shared lists to advertise;
• scrape, bulk-download, or resell the place data and summaries in the app;
• break, probe, or overload the service, or try to get around its limits;
• reverse-engineer the app except where the law says you may.

If you receive shared content you don't want, you can remove it from your own account at any time. To reach Lista directly, use the Feedback button, available throughout the app. We can remove content and suspend accounts that break these terms.

5. AI summaries and place information

• The short summary on a place card is generated by an AI model from public Google reviews. It's a convenience, not a fact-check.
• It can be wrong, out of date, or miss something important. Opening hours, prices, reservation rules, and other details change constantly.
• Check with the place itself before relying on it — especially for anything that matters to your health, your money, or your travel.
• Place details such as ratings, hours, and photos come from Google Places and are subject to Google's own terms and accuracy.

6. Service as-is

We work to keep Lista running and useful, but we provide it "as is" and "as available." We do not promise the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any place information will be accurate. To the extent the law allows, we exclude implied warranties and are not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing here limits liability that cannot legally be limited.

7. Changes to the service and these terms

Lista is early. Features will change, and some may be removed. If we make a material change to these terms, we will update the date above and tell you in the app or by email. Continuing to use Lista after that means you accept the new version.

8. Ending it

• You can delete your account in the app at any time — go to the Account tab and choose Delete Account. Your content is deleted with it, and your share links stop working.
• We can suspend or close any account, with or without reason, including — but not limited to — accounts that break these terms or for legal or security reasons.
• We may also discontinue Lista entirely, at any time, for any reason.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and disputes go to the courts of Saudi Arabia.
